Chief Solagbade Popoola

Chief Solagbade Popoola is a veteran Ifa Priest (Babalawo) and holds a Master Degree in Sociology and Anthropology from the University of Ife, now known as Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile Ife, Osun State, Nigeria. He worked at Nigeria Airways as the Chief Security Officer from 1983 to 1995. Thereafter, he began his full practice as as an Ifa Priest. Due to his proficiency and versatility in the scriptures of Ifa, he was bestowed with several Ifa titles among which are Oba Edu of Ayetoro, Aranisan of Ijo Orunmila, Ariwo of Isalu Iseyin, and Oluwo Ifa of Odewale town, Alakuko. He currently is in charge of the Ethics and Scriptures Committee and is the President of the International Council for Ifa Religion. He is also the editorial Advisor of Elerii Ipin magazine and is the Rector of the Ifa International Training Institute. Chief Solagbade Popoola also has several publications to his credit. He is married with children.
